Nothing is worse than realizing you’re out of refills. Did you know we take steps to help you avoid this? Whenever we use the last refill of one of your regular medications, we send a request for refills to your provider. Sometimes they handle it right away for you and the refill is waiting for next time you need it. On other occasions though, they need to see you in the office before authorizing refills.
What can you do to help? Check your bottles…then check your calendar. If the label on your bottle indicates you have no refills, look to see what you saw your provider last. If it’s time to make an appointment, take the opportunity and reminder to do it then.
